WEST DORSET VINTAGE TRACTOR & STATIONARY ENGINE CLUB LIMITED
The club's monthly meetings are held at the COLLITON CLUB, COLLITON PARK, off Glyde Path Road, DORCHESTER. Near to Dorchester Library. Free Car parking is available outside the club. There are not normally meetings here in June, July and August. June is the month for the club's ANNUAL RALLY held on the 2nd weekend in June at WEST BAY, BRIDPORT (15 miles west of DORCHESTER). July, the club organises an outdoor barbeque usually at a club members home. August tends to clash with so many other vintage rallies and members holidays that it was decided by the membership at a recent Annual General Meeting, it would be better to cancel
After the formal business of the meeting, which can last from 10 to 30 minutes, there is usually a raffle, followed by either a film presentation, slide presentation, quiz night, an educating or amusing speaker on almost anything. The entertainment of the evening could be about almost anything you could think of and does not necessarily have to be on vintage preservation. We recently enjoyed a retired metropolitan police officer telling us what it was like as a raw new bobby on the beat back in the fifties.
The October meeting usually takes the form of a harvest supper night. After club business and the raffle, invited guests and members enjoy tucking in to a feast of refreshments. If the Rally of the year has been successful the club makes a number of donations to local charities which are presented at this meeting.
The club's annual general meeting immediately follows the January club meeting. At this meeting the committee all stand down and the membership elects a new committee for the coming year. After annual reports from the chairman, secretary and treasurer who gives recommendations regarding members subscription rates for the coming year, the membership present at the meeting vote on any issues required.
Members receive a bi-monthly Newsletter which gives much information on local rallies and events as well as publicising club activities and reporting past events. Members are encouraged to submit articles, photographs and any information likely to be of interest. The editor of the newsletter Tony Edwards is always looking to members for any ideas they think would be interesting. Membership fees include third party insurance if exhibiting at our Annual Rally, and also whilst exhibiting at other rallies, provided at the time of exhibiting, you are a paid-up member.

Single Adult £14.00 Family Couple £15.00 Children (School Age) £1.00
Membership includes public liability insurance whilst exhibiting at rally as a paid-up member. Maximum third party liability £2 million pounds per claim
